The GolfIn Story
1995
The Fortin brothers create the very first version of an indoor golf simulator.
2005
Carl Fortin and his father, Gilles, officially launch GolfIn with the vision of becoming a leader in golf simulator manufacturing.
2009
GolfIn begins focusing its efforts exclusively on golf simulator sales.
2011
The company moves into a 5,750 sq. ft. facility. In addition to a dedicated R&D and manufacturing space, GolfIn builds a testing room to evaluate ball flight, data accuracy, swing analysis, launch angle, high-speed cameras, and tracking systems.
2015
Zone GolfIn locations open across Canada, allowing merchants to offer customers a superior golf simulator experience.
2016
GolfIn expands its premises for the fifth time in as many years, reaching 10,000 sq. ft. to meet growing manufacturing demand. Steve Fortin, Carl’s brother, invests in shares and joins the team as Director of Production.
2019
Another brother, Tony Fortin, becomes a shareholder and takes on the role of IT & R&D Director. He spearheads the development of GolfIn’s proprietary launch monitor: IDRA.
2021
GolfIn unveils a 20,000 sq ft facility, complete with a showroom and advanced R&D center — representing a $1M investment.
2023
GolfIn takes a bold step onto the global stage, expanding its distribution network internationally and making its technology accessible to golfers worldwide.
2024
Launch of IDRA II and SimBooth Kits, enhancing the complete indoor golf experience.
